NFR President Anthony Bergamo Hosts Major Law Enforcement Event

Celebrating its “25th Year of Service to America,” more than 1,400 notables gathered in New York’s famed Waldorf Astoria Hotel on Friday, November 16, 2012, as the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation (FLEF) held its annual awards luncheon. FLEF was founded by NFR’s President Anthony Bergamo, who served as host and emcee for the event, which featured a star-studded list of attendees, including NFR Chairman Howard Milstein, Cardinal Timothy Dolan (the Archbishop of New York), Major General Joseph Dunford, Assistant Commandant of the United States Marine Corps and Los Angeles Dodgers Vice President Tommy Lasorda. Local notables from the Niagara Falls area included Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital President Joseph Ruffolo, State Senators George Maziarz and Patrick Gallivan, and State Assemblyman Dennis Gabryszak.
