NFR Donates to Ailing Niagara Falls Police Officer

Wednesday, December 12th, 2012

On December 10, 2012, Niagara Falls Redevelopment (NFR) and the Federal Law Enforcement Foundation (FLEF) each made a gift of $1,000 toward the medical care of Niagara Falls Police Office Bill Gee, who is battling stomach cancer. NFR Executive Vice President, Roger Trevino, presented the checks to Gee at the Niagara Falls Police headquarters.

“We realize you have a considerable amount of medical expenses and this is just a token to help defray those costs,” Trevino said. “You put your life on the on the line (for the public) and it’s a pleasure to pay that back.”

NFR President Anthony Bergamo serves as the Chairman of the FLEF, which is dedicated to serving law enforcement professionals and first responders nationwide. NFR Chairman Howard Milstein underwrites the administrative costs of the Foundation, so that every dollar donated can go to police and firefighters in need.
